Los Angeles Music Academy offers a faculty that has no peer in terms of playing skill, practical, professional performance experience at the highest levels in the music industry. Our names speak for themselves both in terms of their performing ability but also their ability to teach what they know.

Henry Kaleialoha Allen - Maui, Hawaii - Native son of Hawaii, consummate master of Ukulele and Hawaiian Steel Guitar. In the broader world of Jazz, he has been a master Jazz Guitarist for decades, playing with the greats of jazz music. Virtuoso musician, composer, arranger and performer, Mr. Allen is a living legend of music.

Emil Richards - California, is a graduate of Julius Hart School of Music, (now known as University of Connecticut) and Hillard College. He joined the Hartford Symphony Orchestra while in tenth grade, working under Arthur Fiedler and Fritz Mahler. His early career found him in New York where he played jazz gigs with Charlie Mingus, Ed Shaunghnessy, and Ed Thigpen while doing studio recordings for artists such as Perry Como, Ray Charles, and Mitch Aires. Starting in 1997 Emil has taken summers to travel to Europe to do summer camps teaching percussion and performing with musicians from Italy, Sardinia, Austria, Sweden and Germany. 2005 marks sixty-seven years that Emil has been playing mallet instruments. He has recorded on over 1350 film scores and counts over 650 artists that he has recorded and performed with. He also sits on the board of directors of the Percussive Arts Society and the Mister Holland's Opus Foundation.

Nassau Suffolk Performing Arts - New York, is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1994 in order to provide talented student musicians from across Long Island and the metropolitan area with additional rehearsal and performance opportunities in the concert band, jazz band, and vocal jazz genres. We are committed to offering our members a high quality educational and performance-based program that will provide enriching experiences and memories that will foster a lifetime love of music.

Carl Strommen - New York, is a Graduate of the City College Of New  York (CCNY) - BA- English Literature, MA Music - Arrangers Workshop, Eastman School of Music. Primary instrument- piano- trombone - Teaching - presently as Adjunct Prof. at C.W. Post College ( Long Island University) teaching Orchestration, Arranging and  Composition. Taught public School (Band - Mamaroneck, NY). Currently published by Warner  Bros., Carl Fischer, Alfred Pub. Co. Shawnee Press, Boosey  & Hawkes, Heritage and  Smart Charts pub.Co. Compositions and arrangments include Band , Orchestra, Vocal, and jazz  band.
