Additionally AECG is committed to improving the quality of education in our schools by restoring music programs and restoring public awareness about the importance of participation in music and the arts.

“"Brian Cuomo has been one of the “go to” pianists on the Maui music scene since he arrived during the early 1980”s. Master of left-hand bass, he was always there to perform with whatever ensemble he was presented with. In addition to being a great musician, he was a big supporter of the Arts Education for Children Group and Jazz Maui music education program, by regularly offering his time and knowledge to mentor up-and-coming student musicians.
To a great musician, friend, and supporter of the arts, your presence will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing you."
